Madrid Experience brings you a unique and passionate experience which combines Spain’s fantastic wines, its gastronomic heritage and its knowledge of nature and the cosmos. We are talking about an exclusive visit to a very special wine cellar where its owner, an astronomer, will be your host. He will bring you a bit closer to the wine world, the moon, the universe, and even to yourself.

This unique wine cellar makes its wines following the position of the moon and its orientation towards the constellations, or signs of the zodiac. Its vineyards have been divided into ‘fire’, ‘water’, ‘earth’ and ‘air’. When the moon is pointing towards the fire signs, for example, is when that side of the vineyard will be worked on, including the pruning and harvesting of the grapes.

You will gain a deeper understanding of the biological processes, and the moon’s influence over wines, once you step inside the planetarium housed within the wine cellar.

This winemaker’s philosophy is based around a return to the origins and the ancestral way of making wine. This results in biological wines of the highest quality which benefit from having no additives of any sort. Passionately made wines which have the deepest respect for the laws of the cosmos. Wines which are made using the same type of grape but which can be differentiated by the influence the moon has had on them.
