Social Work
THE WORK OF THE PASQUAL MARAGALL FUNDATION
Life consists of moments. There are some moments that mark our life for ever, and others that are only part of good after-dinner conversations accompanied by a good glass of wine. Life is about collecting good moments, experiences that make us feel alive and touch our hearts keeping them in our memory for a life-time.
As you know, we design and organize unforgettable experiences and we leave the skin on it. What would happens if gradually, at some point in our life, we loose our memory, our experiences, and even the most important bonds that link us to our beloved ones, to our life and to the world?
For this reason, Madrid Experience supports the work of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation. This foundation focuses its efforts on the Alzheimer’s research, training caregivers and improving the quality of life of people who suffer this tragic disease and those around them.
The Pasqual Maragall Foundation for Research on Alzheimer’s was born in April 2008, as result of the public commitment of Pasqual Maragall, former mayor of Barcelona and president of the Generalitat of Catalonia, after being diagnosed with Alzheimer.
Today, life expectancy increases with the advances of science and we would like to contribute to build a better future and not only live longer but live better.
From Madrid Experience, we commit ourselves with a monthly donation, to support the works of a foundation. A part of the sale of our services goes to this work. Do you join our efforts?
A warm hug,
