If you come to Madrid from abroad to see the match we hope you decided to stay a couple of days to enjoy, discover this great city and experience its most interesting and exclusive attractions.

What to do in Madrid during the Champions League final?

Aside from enjoying the 9PM match on Saturday June 1, Madrid Experience would like to suggest a few ideas that will make you enjoy all the time you spend in the capital.

Enjoy one of the best stadiums in the world

One of the options any football fan choses when visiting Madrid is to do a tour of one of the most famous football stadiums in the world: Santiago Bernabeu. We recommend you visit the stadium, learn about its history, step on the grass and even dine enjoying the views of the field. No doubt this is an experience any lover of football would enjoy. If you are after a special VIP experience, we can arrange for a private visit of the stadium for you and your guests once it has closed to the general public, and then end the visit with a dinner.

Madrid’s signature spots

One of our favorite places is Madrid´s Royal Palace, a beautiful white palace located within the city centre. This magnificent building is almost twice as large as Versailles and has double the rooms, making it western Europe’s largest city palace.

Seeing the palace’s interior’s is a must, so, why not to take a VIP Tour of Madrid for you to learn about the stories and anecdotes of the monarchs who lived there. Outside the palace you can enjoy the beauty of the Sabatini gardens, their sculptures, fountains and amazing vegetation.

If you are after a more VIP experience, we can organise an exclusive tour of the palace, accessing some of the rooms not open to the general public, as part of a VIP Tour of Madrid.

Museums of note in Madrid

No weekend in Madrid is complete without some cultural activities, so if you are an art lover you can’t leave the capital without visiting some of the most important museums and artworks in Spain. We recommend you visit the Prado Museum and enjoy some of the most important works in western art, such as Velazquez’s “Las Meninas,” Bosch’s “The Garden of Earthly Delights,”or Goya’s “Naked Maja,” who was rumoured to be the Duchess of Alba.

You can also take in works by El Greco, and the mostly unknown, but extremely valuable, collection of items, dishes and objects d’art which make up the collection known as “The Dauphin’s Treasure,” which came to Spain with Philip V, Spain’s first Bourbon monarch and the son of France’s Louis XIV- in the XVIII century.
